Narrative

Sunshine Village is a remarkable community where people with developmental disabilities are given opportunities for growth, outlets for creativity and the chance to discover their own niche. We support people of all ages through a wide range of programs. We teach life skills, foster independence, promote wellness and give everyone the chance to realize their potential.

We offer five Mass Health-funded day programs to individuals 18 and older. These structured, therapeutic programs are focused on enhancing functional life skills. Individual plans address independent living and self-care areas of need. In addition to nurturing social and interpersonal skills. Clinical services provided include on-site nursing, master’s level clinicians, and indirect occupational, physical and speech therapies.

Services must be referred by Department of Developmental Services (DDS).
