Narrative
This community-based program helps adults with disabilities find and maintain jobs at area businesses. The program offers vocational assessment, job readiness, and work skills training.
The Supported Employment program bolsters the lives of our adults with disabilities. We help them train for and secure meaningful jobs at businesses in the community. The program offers work assessment job readiness, and work skills training. Other program benefits include:
- Matching each person to a position based on skills and interests
- One-on-one coaching and on-site support as needed
- An established work schedule from as little as one to 40+ hours per week
- Help with resumes, preparing for interviews and researching job openings
Supported Employment is funded by the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS). Local companies who hire supported employment candidates often receive federal tax credits.
