Production Teams

A work program comprised of a small group of people working at a company under the supervision of Work Opportunity Center, Inc. (WOC, Inc.)  The people are considered employees of WOC, Inc. They receive their pay and benefits from our agency. This work model allows people to work in integrated work settings in different industries with the support of WOC, Inc. staff.  Some work sites pay people on a piece rate basis. Some work sites pay at an hourly wage. These settings help build work skills that can be transferred to Supported Employment jobs.

Group Supported Employment

Group Supported Employment also provides the chance to acquire skills in different industries. People gain valuable work experience in the community. In addition, people who work in this program gain confidence and self-esteem. They have the chance to meet and interact with other workers. They gain an understanding of different work cultures. These settings help build work skills that can be transferred to other Supported Employment jobs.
