Narrative

Home based placement services is a program that matches a family who is interested in sharing their home with an individual with intellectuals and/or developmental disabilities. The goal is to find someone a home whose needs and lifestyles match. Creating households in which all members are provided the opportunity to experience the responsibilities and benefits of sharing life together.

Each Shared Living/AFC situation is uniquely designed to match the individual’s preferred lifestyle and needs. The caregiver receives supports and services from their assigned Home Based Supports Manager and R.N. Substantial stipends are negotiated based on the individual needs of the person.
