Shared Living Providers in Massachusetts are kind caregivers who welcome adults with developmental disabilities (DD) into their homes and lives. Shared Living gives care in a way that maximizes the person’s dignity and quality of life. It most closely copies a private home experience. Providers are professionally trained and well matched with the person in their care. This ensures stability, safty, health and welfare. Shared Living gives personal care, homemaker services, meals, transportation, and socialization.
Seven Hills provides training for the caregiver and nursing services as authorized. We develop individual safty plans. The Provider gets professional supports and services to help them give optimum care. They also receives a tax-free stipend.

Respite care through Seven Hills in Massachusetts and Rhode Island provides short-term care for adults and children with disabilities. Respite gives opportunities for their families or primary caregivers to have time away. Respite can be hourly or include overnight either in the home of the person or outside the home.
