People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and brain injuries (BI) enjoy a comfortable, secure home life. They are given creative opportunities to participate in their respective communities fully. Shared responsibilities, social and recreational activities, and valued relationships all contribute to making a house a home. The varied levels of staff help and skills training that are there to support the personal lifestyle of each person.
Whether focusing on new skills or maintaining current levels of independence, people have access to the clinical and healthcare services necessary to ensure their continued well-being. These may include intensive nursing care for complex medical needs or specialized therapies such as speech, occupational and physical therapies (OT/PT) to improve or support existing capabilities.
