Supports and training provided by Northeast Arc’s Independent Living Services include: 

  • Safety
  • Medication administration and health
  • Housekeeping
  • Financial management

Shared Living

Shared Living pairs people with disabilities with provider families, who welcome them into their homes, lives and community. Shared Living caregivers do not replace the individual’s family. They play the role of extended family and expose the person to a new group of friends while fully integrating them into their family unit. Caregivers are highly trained and skilled people who are selected specifically to help people learn, grow and thrive as healthy, active, social adults.
