Eligibility Requirements
People who have a developmental/intellectual disability due to cognitive or physical challenges observed prior to the age of 22 who are MassHealth eligible. Some private insurance or waiver members may also be eligible.

Narrative

BAMSI’s Day Habiliation Centers provide services to individuals at a variety of locations that are pleasant, friendly, fully accessible, and convienetly located near community reasources.  Staff members believe that all persons with disablities can learn and grown when given the proper supports to succeed.  

Each person has an individually designed service plan that outlines his or her support needs and personal goals.  The plan is structued to encourage independence, enhance social integration and improve the quality of the individual’s life. All services are grounded in a person-centered philosophy in which each individual is engaged as a partner to define needs and identify desired supports.

To address indivdual needs, BAMSI’s Day Habilitation programs provide comprehensive services that include the following:

  • Skill development
  • Community integration
  • Medical support
  • Medication adminstration
  • Physical therapy
  • Occupational therapy
  • Speech and language therapy
  • Behavioral management.
