Narrative

Serves developmentally disabled adults who have medical and/or therapeutic needs.  Services include community integration, physical, occupational and speech therapy and life skills training. We also focus on independent living skills and socialization skills. limited support to nursing facility residents. Also offers community-based activities and volunteer opportunities. Program also houses Fairhaven Employment Services that provides vocational assessment, job development and placement, job coaching and job support services.

Our Fairhaven Day Center is the largest of our Greater New Bedford locations and includes employment services, day habilitation and life skills.

Conveniently located off Route 195 and across the street from the Fairhaven Bike Path which has been the home for our Annual Walk and Family Fun Day.

The Fairhaven Day Center provides a large kitchen, spacious therapy and program rooms, nurse stations and more.

The friendly and courteous drivers of our transportation services provide safe transport to and from the Fairhaven Day Center.
