Narrative
The Enrichment Center is a day program located in Chicopee that is dedicated to empowering people with acquired brain injuries (ABI). We help them build a strong sense of community and fulfillment.
Recognizing each member’s unique talents and interests, our activities and therapies are designed to promote learning, social interaction, and a feeling of belonging.
Together, we embrace the power of community and mutual support as we embark on a path of personal growth and shared success.
Social programming is flexible and dynamic. People choose from a menu of activities at the centers as well as in their communities. These include:
- Support groups
- Social events
- Crafts, board games, and yoga
- Music and dance sessions
- Computer skills, games, and online research
- Bowling, museums, and movie theater trips
- Sporting events and restaurants
- Equestrian and cycling therapy
Physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), and speech therapy (SLP) are provided as needed. Staff are overseen by licensed professionals.
