Mission Statement
MicroTek’s mission is to provide employment support to people with disabilities, in a self-sustaining, community-based manufacturing setting We focus on those with developmental/intellectual disabilities.
We do this by:
- Providing a safe and accessible setting. We focus on employing people with disabilities
- Ensuring that everyone is given the training and support needed to perform quality cable and assembly work to our customers’ standards.
- Fostering a community of respect, responsibility, and recognition of everyone’s contributions to our success.
- Advocating for our corporate community to support meaningful employment for people with disabilities.
MicroTek is a cable assembly company that employs 95 individuals, 16 with developmental disabilities. Intensive training & supervision is provided by nondisabled coworkers to increase independence and productivity.
