Narrative
Through our Day and Employment Services at the Life Skills & Learning Center, Advocates staff partners with adults who have disabilities and their families to customize experiences and activities uniquely suited to each person’s interests, skills, needs, and goals.
Whether it’s by continuing education, improving overall health and wellness, giving back to the community, finding employment, or exploring new hobbies, Advocates’ Day and Employment Services encourages adults with disabilities on a lifetime path of self-exploration and development.
The Center houses fitness facilities, sensory rooms, vocational training spaces, and more. But we also bridge a connection to the community, partnering with libraries, arts groups, local businesses, and other organizations, for even more opportunities for individuals to lead active and fulfilling lives – on their own, or with family and friends.
