Serves 13 people in 9 different staffed apartments. Staff/clients ratios range from 1:1 to 2:3. Normalization & life sharing are emphasized to create real homes & participation in community. Major goals include helping people make & keep friendship. Local college courses & work experiences help accomplish this. Contribute % of SSI.

Westport Associates, Incorporated is a small non-profit human service agency which was founded in 1980. Its initial mission was to provide support to ten individuals moving from an institutional setting to the community over thirty-four years ago. 

The core of the agency’s mission is to share a personal and professional commitment to support each person to make choices that reflect his or her lifestyle.  The agency’s ongoing focus on ensuring people are treated equally.  We are promoting personal responsibility and self-determination across all settings. We have personalized home options, day supports, and active involvement in one’s community.
