Community Crisis Stabilization Programs (CCS)
BHN offers short-term services for Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS). BHN has three locations available in Springfield, Holyoke, and Westfield. CCS is a voluntary, unlocked, community-based treatment program. Brief services are provided in a home-like, safe, supervised setting for:
- mental health crisis
- hospital step-down
- medication evaluation
- service coordination
Short-term, out-of-home placements offer stabilization in a home-like, supervised setting.
Holyoke Respite – BHN Respite is a 12-bed facility operating 24 hours, 7 days a week. The Holyoke Respite is funded by the Department of Mental Health.
The Village for Youth – The Village for Youth is a Youth Community Crisis Stabilization (YCCS) short-term, residential community with separate and developmentally appropriate programs for children ages 6-12 and youth ages 13-18 experiencing a mental health crisis.
Westfield Respite – BHN Respite is an 8-bed facility operating 24 hours, 7 days a week. The Westfield Respite is funded by the Department of Mental Health.
