Narrative
The Developmental Disabilities (DD) Services Program supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We give them opportunities to live the way they choose. We believe that people are greater than their disabilities. We work in partnership with families and people. We provide culturally competent and respectful services to all people of various ethnic-racial groups.
We currently serve the greater Boston areas, Milton and Chelsea. VHS has 5 residential homes: 3 in Dorchester, 1 in Milton and 1 in Chelsea.
