Narrative

Individual Supports is a service model where an individual with a developmental or intellectual disability lives independently in their own home or apartment with intermittent support from Vinfen staff. Vinfen works with individuals and their families to develop a personalized model that meets the individual’s needs. This person-centered service is intended to help individuals attain the highest possible level of independence to live happy, productive, and valued lives. Services may include assistance with transportation, medication administration, meal planning, managing personal finances, social activity planning, representative payee, and management of benefits.

Vinfen offers residential services to individuals with complex needs in the community through our specialized residential services. We provide these services to adults who have intensive medical needs, adults with autism, and young adults who are transitioning from living with their families to more independent settings.

Services may include assistance with transportation, medication administration, meal planning, managing personal finances, social activity planning, representative payee, and management of benefits.
