Narrative

INDIVIDUAL SUPPORTS 

Individual Supports is a service model where a person with a developmental or intellectual disability (IDD) lives independently in their own home or apartment with intermittent support from Vinfen staff. Vinfen works with people and their families to develop a personalized model that meets the person’s needs. This person-centered service is intended to help people attain the highest possible level of independence to live happy, productive, and valued lives.

Services may include:

  • help with transportation
  • meds administration
  • meal planning
  • managing personal finances (money management)
  • social activity planning
  • representative payee
  • management of benefits
