Our Employment Specialists empower people to pursue meaningful work in their communities. We support each person in exploring their:

interests and likes

building job readiness skills

working on resumes

navigating the job search process

 

From completing applications and preparing for interviews to onboarding and on-the-job training, our team is there every step of the way to ensure a smooth transition into employment and long-term success.

If hired, GAAMHA’s Employment Specialist will help with new hire paperwork and maintain communication with the person and employer to ensure a successful placement. Our Employment Specialist and/or Job Coach will then help the person learn their tasks through on-site training.
