Breaking Grounds Café

Breaking Grounds Café offers training to people with disabilities who want to work in the food service, hospitality or customer service industry. The café offers fresh sandwiches, snacks and exceptional coffee. Seasonal favorites and gift certificates are available!

The Caning Company of Northeast Arc

For more than fifty years, The Caning Company of Northeast Arc has provided chair-weaving services to the general public, antique dealers and commercial businesses all over New England. The staff and workers are experts in all types of weaving, including hand cane, pressed cane, fiber rush and porch weave. Individuals interested in caning are offered work exploration opportunities to learn a variety of caning skills and potentially move to paid employment.

 

Northeast Arc Heritage Shredding

Northeast Arc Heritage Shredding is the best solution for the safe destruction of your own personal or your company’s confidential documents. Services include the free delivery and pick-up of locked bins, Proof-of-Tracking, and Certificate of Destruction for FACTA and HIPAA compliance. Shredding is done by trained employees in a secure area, and shredded paper is mixed with thousands of pounds before being processed into pulp for recycling.

Northeast Arc’s Competitive Employment services are funded through the Department of Development Services (DDS), the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC), the Mass Commission for the Blind (MCB), public and private school systems and private pay
