Brockton Area Arc’s Family Support Center provides information, education, and referral services that helps parents to successfully manage the challenges of raising a child with disabilities. Support groups and parent meetings sponsored by the Family Support Center provides chances for families to connect with other families. They can share resources and build support networks.

Members of the Family Support Center Team include Coordinators that are fluent in Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, French, Spanish and Haitian Creole. We can also arrange for translation and interpretation in other languages upon request.

The Cape Verdean Outreach Program provides Family Support services:  information and referral, service navigation and home visits. These services are for Cape Verdean families who have children or adult members with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
