BAMSI’s caring staff create houses that really feel like homes for people whom independent living proves hard to do.
People living in BAMSI homes gain the tools to learn, grow, and thrive in a supportive setting.
Serves people with intellectual and developmental disablities (IDD) who are living in their own apartment. Many are subsidized by state &/or federal funding. Pay own rent, utilities, food & personal items. Staff support & instruction provided in ADLs, banking, shopping, medical & recreation/social.
No overnight staff on duty, they visit 5-10 hr/wk. Primary diagnosis of intellectual disabiity (IDD).
