Narrative
Community Support’s provides activities that focus on life skills, community integration, social inclusion, leisure and recreation as well as opportunities for paid and volunteer work. Participation in the community at large is an integral role of this support. A variety of trainings, therapies, and group activities are offered in order to meet the needs of each individual. Most of the participants in Community Supports are deaf/blind, so all the Community Support staff is trained in Signed English and Total Communications.
Services include:
- Coordination of outpatient /medical care
- Access to beefits/entitlement programs
- Linakage wiht community resources
- Transportation assitance
- Housing resources
Services are available to folks with Mass Health whose behavioral health is managed by any one of the Mass Health managed care entities.
