Funded by Department of Developmental Services (DDS), this program provides hourly supports to adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities living on their own in the community.
Community Living Supports help individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities live on their own safely and be as productive in the community as their skills allow them to be. Staff assist individuals with activities of daily living, accessing services, money management, medical and psychiatric oversight, and providing social and recreational activities.
Hourly supports to individuals living on their own, with housemates or significant others, who live in the Springfield/Westfield area. Supports vary from one to fifteen hours per week, and focus on assistance with the day to day details of living on one’s own, including skill building and education, liaison with other professionals, employment search, benefits/ financial management, accessing generic services, and general case management.
