Narrative
Bridgewell provides a variety of residential services to support people with developmental and physical disabilities as well as those who are dually diagnosed with psychiatric disabilities. Bridgewell takes a person-centered approach in its delivery of services. Our core purpose is supporting people to lead and direct their own lives. We are dedicated to ensuring that homes create the conditions for developing, sustaining and strengthening relationships among housemates, in the community and with family and friends.
Specialty services are also available for people with probable Alzheimer’s disease, those who are hearing impaired, extensive medical health challenges or significant behavioral challenges.
Bridgewell’s Community Housing services include permanent staff-supported 24/7 housing, supported living, and respite housing for emergency and planned stays. All services are provided based on personal choice, preference and need emphasizing a holistic approach to service delivery.
We have more than 65 residences and supported living sites in 18 communities north of Boston including Lynn, Lynnfield, Wakefield, Saugus, Melrose, Woburn, Peabody, Danvers, Beverly, Swampscott, Salem, Lowell, Chelmsford, Dracut, Tewksbury, Billerica, Haverhill and Merrimac.
