General Info
Narrative
Our Work Supports programs — Supported Employment, Supported Group Employment and Community Employment — focus on skill development and employment in the community with support from Northeast Arc staff. Employment supports are designed to ensure that all people are able to achieve personal employment goals. Each person’s day is individually defined to maximize his or her opportunities to learn.
Journeys
Journeys helps people develop the skills needed to access the community safely, become a productive member of the community, and build and maintain employment and life skills. The program offers them diverse opportunities to volunteer in the community and work at local businesses.
S.T.E.P. (Skills Training Exploration Program)
S.T.E.P. is designed to support people to build work and life skills. They can become productive members of their communities. A major part of S.T.E.P. is the art-focused Discover & Design program.
