Narrative

The Arc of Opportunity’s Community-Based Day Supports program provides services Monday-Friday (9:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.) and offers an array of services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Each person in our community-based programming receives a person-centered plan manager to help focus and support him or her in achieving his or her self-determined goals.

Community outings are created based upon individualized goals and preferences and ties into one of four curricula:

 o   Pre-Vocational

o   Arts & Culture

o   Health & Wellness

o   Life Skills

The Arc’s Community-Based Day Supports program takes a holistic, individualized look at each individual served in effort to maximize independence and support those served to make meaningful community connections.
