Narrative
The Child and Family Services Division supports Dimock’s mission by providing, “accessible, comprehensive, innovative and culturally competent” education and support services to children, families and individuals from pre-birth to adulthood – designed to promote optimal development and economic stability. Programs in the Division include:
- Early Head Start – center-based and home-based services to expectant families and children birth to 3 years
- Head Start – center-based services for children ages 3-5 years
- School Readiness – center-based child care for children ages 4 months to 5 years
- Early Intervention – services for children birth to 3 years with disabilities and/or developmental delays
- Adult Education – basic education, pre-GED, GED and career-readiness education for adults
