Narrative

Berkshire Hills Music Academy is a unique college-like program for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are looking to expand their social, vocational, and life skills in a music-infused environment.

Berkshire Hills Music Academy (BHMA) is an intensive vocational and independent living program. BHMA is licensed by the Department of Developmental Disabilities in Massachusetts and serves young adults nationally and internationally with cognitive and/or developmental disabilities. BHMA students possess an intrinsic love of music. The Life-Centered Educational Curriculum prepares students for independence and personal fulfillment through Daily Living Skills, Self Determination and Interpersonal Skills, Employment, and Music.
