Adult Foster Care is an alternative lifestyle that offers individuals over 16 years of age a safe home with a caregiver who gives them physical assistance and community integration. In Adult Foster Care, individuals who cannot manage independently without supervision and physical care are matched with trained caregivers in carefully selected homes. The caregivers provide adult foster care to participants with the assisting, supervising, and cueing of personal care and activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, eating, dressing, and transferring in a home within the Pioneer Valley.
Specialized home care services and innovative life share programs for multiply-handicapped individuals. Utilizes home care model to provide least restrictive family living. Placements available throughout Western MA. Department of Developmental Services Funded.
